About Rasputin

Rasputin is the coolest looking dog. It seems that Rasputin had an owner that used to bring him running with her to the local park. It was at that local park where he was picked up as a stray. A local resident recognized him and brought him into the OC shelter. The local resident stated that she saw him at the park alone in the morning and when she returned to check on him in the afternoon, he was still alone. The resident also stated that his physical appearance had declined significantly since she used to see him running with his owner. It is unthinkable how amazing loyal dogs like this wind up on the euthanasia list. Rasputin was going to be euthanized in a couple of hours when he was brought to our attention by a shelter volunteer. He might not be a puppy, but he is so full of life and he deserves a human who will give him the love and loyalty that he unconditionally gave his past owner as he waited for her in the park they used to run together in.
