About Dwayne Corduroy

Dwayne is a 4.5 year old Border Terrier mix. He's as sweet and affectionate as he is cute. This is a quality of his breed. I adopted him @ 5 months and have all his records and history. He ideally has a combination of: 3 walks a day, backyard/park/running free, hike, playing fetch, playing tug of war. He would thrive with a family of any configuration or a person/persons with the interest, knowledge, time + energy to play with him. Dwayne is house-trained, crate trained + sleeps nightly in his crate, though he's free while I'm at work. He's recently been possessive on walks and barking at certain dogs (bigger). Dwayne takes Bravecto or Credelio to manage fleas + ticks, he is allergic to grains so only a grain free diet (he will break out in hives and have GI issues). Specifically, he cannot be fed the Purina Grain-Free skin/stomach sensitive or any of the vet-grade Purina recipes. He eats Fromm's Tunalini these days. Recently, he has a grass allergy or an environmental allergy and needs an allergy shot. This needs to be re-confirmed with a vet.
