About Inka

Adoption Fee: $5
Domestic Cat
Age: Young Kitten
Sex: Male

Hi, my name is Inka! I'm a 12-week-old male kitten who was born outdoors and rescued by a foster mom who is always up for playtime! I think I'm pretty cool looking - I'm a ghost tabby (also known as a smoke tabby or black tabby), which means if you look closely, my coat has subtle brown and black striping! My foster mom says my markings are rare. My name looks similar to 'Inca' because the ancient Incan culture believed Amazon black jaguars were very special and powerful! My absolute favorite things to do are play, play, and then play some more! Then, once I'm worn out, I love to get pets, show off my purring skills, and snack on treats. Foster mom here: I'm hoping someone caring, patient and fun-loving can give Inka a forever home. It's been a total joy to watch Inka grow and discover how wonderful domesticated life can be. He gets an A+ in high-energy kitten playtime, so he'll need a loving paw-rent who can set aside time for interactive play. He's quickly learning how amazing human strokes and chin scratches are, and he greets me every morning with a raised tail, patiently waiting for pets. As a FYI, his temperament with kids is 'unknown' because I don't have kids, but that wasn't an available option on the form. I can confirm he's great with adults. I would suggest older kids. Because Inka experienced a quick transition from outdoors to indoors, he is understandably nervous at first in new environments. He'll likely need a little time to adjust to a new home at his own pace, but he'll show you his fun, adventurous side soon enough! Quick Adoption Details: - Location: Westerville (Visitors welcome anytime!) - Medical & costs: Inka isn't neutered yet, but if you decide to adopt him, I will split the cost of getting him neutered and his rabies shot. - FYI: Inka has a brother and mother in the same space who are set up for other plans. - Housing setup: Because the foster kittens don't have their vaccinations yet, and because I have other pets in my home, the kittens are temporarily housed in my (very clean, ship-shape) garage. With shelters at max capacity right now (it's kitten season), I'm eager to help this fun, unique boy land directly in a caring home. Please reach out if you'd like to meet Inka!
