About Buck

VIDEO INCLUDED: BUCK HAS WATCHED EVERYONE ELSE FIND THEIR FAMILY. WHEN WILL IT BE HIS TURN? This is Buck. And I need you to look at his face for just a moment. Because behind those beautiful eyes is a dog who has lived through a story filled with loss, separation, and heartbreak- a story he never asked for. Buck is the father of Abby, Roland, Diego, and several other Malinois pups. One by one, his babies were given the chance he still waits for. They found warm homes.They found soft beds. They found people who chose them. But Buck is still waiting. His story has been incredibly sad. Years ago, the rescue originally saved four Malinois puppies, including Alice. But Alice was stolen from the rescue by a temporary foster and later ended up being used for breeding with Buck as the sire. Through it all, the rescue never stopped searching for her. They never gave up hope that she would be found and given a happily ever after. In the process of looking for Alice, they found Buck. And now, after all this time, Buck himself has come to the rescue in a heartbreaking turn of events. The man who had been caring for him became homeless and very ill, and was no longer able to care for him. So once again, Buck found himself without the stability and love he deserved.And so here he is. Still waiting. Still hoping. Still loving. Still believing in people. Because despite everything he has endured, Buck is still a sweet, affectionate, deeply loving boy. He gives hugs. He gives kisses and yes, he's an ear kisser! He loves belly rubs. He loves treats. He loves to play. He loves to relax. And he truly believes he is a lap dog, no matter his size. He has so much love left to give. He just needs someone willing to finally give him a chance to belong. Someone who will look at this beautiful boy and say: 'Buck, you don't have to wonder anymore. You're home now.' He is 4 years old, a full-bred Belgian Malinois, neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. He can be fostered, foster-to-adopt, or adopted. PLEASE SHARE. You may not be the one who can take Buck home. But you might be the one who helps his person see him. The one who has been unknowingly waiting for him. The one who will finally give him the life he should have had all along. Buck has spent enough time waiting. He deserves his forever.
