About Mushu

Mushu Needs a Foster or Adopter to Secure His Ride to Wisconsin Mushu is currently at a shelter and needs a FOSTER or ADOPTER to secure his spot on the transport to Cedarburg, WI with Mutt Life Dog Rescue on August 15th. A committed home is required for him to make the trip, and we're hopeful the right person is out there. Meet Mushu Mushu is a 1-year-old Mastiff mix (best guess) who is ready for a fresh start. This handsome low-riding guy came into the shelter as a stray and arrived with a severe skin condition. Thanks to the care and dedication of the shelter staff, Mushu's skin is healing beautifully, and he should be looking and feeling his best by the time he makes his way to Wisconsin. Mushu may be a big guy, but he is truly just a big baby with a giant heart. He is a sweet, affectionate lover boy who wants nothing more than attention and companionship. He loves being around people and has quickly become a staff favorite. Mushu loves kids and does great with other dogs. He has an easygoing, friendly personality and would make a wonderful addition to many different types of homes. A cat test is still pending, and we will update his profile once we know more about how he does with feline friends. Mushu is good on a leash and enjoys spending time with his people. Whether he's going for a walk, making new friends, or just relaxing and soaking up attention, Mushu is happiest when he is included.
