No HW test. Owner reports Paulu has cataracts and is partially blind. Owner reports: Paulu is having trouble adjusting to family life and is having more issues with age. Owner reports that Paulu has separation anxiety. 'He is a great snuggly dog who just wants to sleep on his humans lap or by their feet.' Paulu is reported to be an indoor dog with the run of the house. He is said to be house broken and leash trained. He knows the following commands: 'Sit, ' Lay Down,' 'Come.' Paulu is reported to be outgoing and good with adults. Paulu would do best as the only dog in the house. According to owner 'Paulu is fighting my other dog over invisible pears (smells). He has separation anxiety and is having trouble adjusting to me spending time with my child. He is fighting the other dog over me. He is a heavy resource guarder and would do best in a home with children over the age of 6, no other pets.' 'He resource guards and fights dogs over high value treats and sometimes smells for extra high value treats. He has taken to fighting over the smell of the pears from the pear tree in the yard. Does not fight over regular kibble, free feed. Fights dogs for the spot next to owner...He has never bitten any humans. He has not broken skin but only because the other dog is bigger and stops him. Other dog does just enough to defend herself and pins him and stops.'
