It is with a heavy heart that I am looking to rehome my handsome akc registered Queensland Heeler. He is 1 year old and not neutered. This is not an easy decision, but due to changes in my circumstances, I can no longer give him the time and attention he deserves. He is a healthy, smart and very energetic dog who would do best with an active family or individual who understands the needs of herding breeds. He will thrive in a home where he gets plenty of exercise and training. He would do good in a home with older children as he still jumps on people and gets mouthy when he gets overly excited. He does get along with other dogs but does not like cats. My priority is finding him a safe, loving, lifelong home-not just the first person interested. I may ask a few questions about your home, experience with dogs, and lifestyle to make sure he's a good fit. A reasonable rehoming fee applies to help ensure he goes to a committed home.
