Reggie is a 12 year old, 46 pound Terrier mix with a gentle heart who is looking for a loving home to spend his golden years. Despite everything he has been through, he has remained a sweet, friendly dog who loves people and deserves a family that will love him back. Reggie gets along well with other dogs, cats, children, and strangers, making him an easy companion for many different types of homes. He enjoys going for walks and, while he pulls a little on leash, he settles into a nice stroll. He's not a fan of bicycles. Reggie also enjoys exploring the backyard, but he should not be left outside unsupervised or off leash since he has a tendency to wander. Reggie is mostly house trained but, at his age, sometimes has difficulty holding his bladder and may need more frequent potty breaks and a little extra patience. Reggie's story is heartbreaking. His previous owner was abusive and was planning to either have him euthanized or let him go. Thankfully, someone stepped in to save him, but they are unable to keep him permanently. Now Reggie is hoping to find the loving home he has always deserved. Reggie is up to date on his rabies vaccine, is not neutered, and has no known medical issues. If you have room in your heart and home for a gentle senior who is simply looking for love, Reggie would love to meet you. He's located in Trenton, New Jersey.
