About Mabel

Mabel is an approx. 4.5 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback mix who weighs approx. 60 lbs. She is a strong, dominant woman who does not take crap from anyone - including her husband Larry or his best bud Teddy. Equal-opportunity accountability. Mabel is also very quick to talk smack to other dogs as they walk by. Loud opinions. Zero hesitation. She is full of herself, and honestly? She's earned it. She's a gorgeous girl and she knows exactly what she brings to the table. Larry and Mabel are a bonded pair, no negotiations. They met in boarding after being rescued a few months apart, and somehow it was fate. He's the Ricky to her Lucy. She's prim, proper, and runs a tight ship. He's the 'I'll chew your ear off while we walk through Home Depot because I love you so much' kind of guy. Together, they are perfection. They both adore people and will greet you with enthusiastic kisses. Mabel and Larry cannot go to a home with other animals, but trust us when we say this: the two of them are more than enough.
