About Mocha Guinea Pig

Mocha is a beautiful brown and tan two-year-old female smooth coated American guinea pig looking for a loving guardian. Mocha shared a habitat with her sister guinea pig who recently passed away. Her human is going through chemotherapy and can no longer care for her, so she was relinquished to Friends of Petraits Rescue. Ideally, she would love to join a household with another female guinea pig or neutered male guinea pig to share her life with. She makes wonderful wheeks and whistles and is easy to hold. She is currently eating unlimited timothy, orchard and botanical hays, fresh salad, fruits, veggies and pellets. Guinea pigs need daily vitamin C which they get from fresh pellets, a 1-inch squares of red pepper, a vitamin C cookie, and some of their dark leafy greens. This sweet girl deserves a guinea pig-loving home with people who will handle her daily, keep her well-fed, nails trimmed, and habitat nice and clean.
