Hello everyone, This is nova and I'm looking to re-home her. Nova and I have been together for about six years now. She was a stray when I got her, believed to be abused and used as a litter dog. She has been a great companion the last six years, listens to commands, is house trained, loves to play with toys, is okay with the bath and getting her nails trimmed, she does okay around other dogs. She's great around kids. I'm a single father with a nine month old son, I have a studio apartment and I'm constantly working to make ends meet, it's breaking my heart but she needs more than I'm able to provide for her right now. More space, more attention, more walks and playtime, She does suffer with high anxiety (being alone, loud noises, she's terrified of thunderstorms, fireworks). The loud noises and thunderstorms cause her to tear things up when I'm not home,I can no longer mentally or financially take it,I've tried anxiety meds, thunder shirt, hide and seek treat stuff, dog anxiety tv, lick mats, kong toys, and other alternatives to try and keep her occupied. She would be best suited with someone or a family with someone in a stay at home situation. She'll come with what's left of her food, All toys, leashes and harnesses I have for her
