About Wrangler

WRANGLER IS ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR HIS FOREVER PERSON. He has just one requirement: No roommates. ���� Wrangler is a 4-year-old Rottweiler/Cattle Dog mix who is neutered, healthy, housebroken, crate trained, muzzle trained, and has had extensive obedience and behavioral training. He is also ridiculously happy, playful, LOVES his people, LOVES food, LOVES toys, and has apparently decided that running on a treadmill is a totally normal thing for dogs to do. Wrangler has made some BIG changes through his recent training. His impulse control and resource guarding have improved tremendously, and he's been doing great working around other dogs while staying focused on his person. BUT - and this is important - Wrangler has a serious history of fights with another male dog and a bite history related to those incidents. So NO KIDS. Absolutely no exceptions. He also needs to be an only pet, although the right VERY experienced home may be considered for another animal. Basically, Wrangler is looking for someone who thinks having ONE dog is plenty. A hiking buddy.�'۬A camping buddy.�'۬A ball-and-tug buddy.�'۬A couch buddy.�'۬A 'why are you in the bathroom without me?' buddy. You get the idea. Unfortunately, his current situation has fallen apart through no fault of his own. His owner needs surgery and a long recovery, and Wrangler's trainer is leaving the state in early August. So this goofy dude needs a foster or adopter ASAP. Even a temporary foster through mid-September would be a HUGE help. He doesn't need a perfect person. He needs the right person - someone active, consistent, experienced, and perfectly happy having a dog who doesn't need to be friends with everybody. And if you happen to have a fish tank, Wrangler would probably like to discuss the possibility of a roommate. ��%90� Please share Wrangler.
