# Meet Bravo: Your Loyal Shadow and Best Friend Some dogs spend their lives waiting for someone to believe in them. Bravo is finally ready for that person. Bravo is a handsome 2%BD-year-old, 50-pound German Shepherd mix who has already overcome more than most dogs ever should. Born on the streets of Tucson, Arizona, he and his brother were brought into a shelter, where Bravo spent nearly nine months waiting for someone to choose him. As time passed, he found himself on the euthanasia list before a foster family stepped in, giving him the second chance he deserved and bringing him all the way to New Hampshire to start over. Originally named Blaine, his foster family gave him a new name-**Bravo Ragazzo**, meaning *'good boy'*-to celebrate the brave, loving dog he truly is. And good boy couldn't describe him better. Bravo is the definition of a **velcro dog**. Once he trusts you, he'll happily follow you from room to room, content just being near his favorite person. Whether you're working from home, watching TV, gardening, or heading out for an adventure, Bravo simply wants to be by your side. His favorite way to show affection is with gentle 'cobbing'-soft little nibbles and nuzzles that are his unique way of saying, *'I love you.'* He's incredibly intelligent and eager to please. Bravo is crate trained, house trained, walks beautifully on a leash, knows 'sit,' and even lets you know when he needs to go outside. He's the kind of dog who quietly fits into your daily routine and becomes your constant companion. Despite his difficult beginning, Bravo has remained incredibly gentle. In the shelter, he was known as the dog who never caused trouble and was often picked on by other dogs. Today, he lives peacefully with three resident dogs in his foster home and enjoys having canine companions-as long as they're respectful and easygoing. He would thrive with one or two calm, lower-energy dogs, but a home full of rough-and-rowdy personalities wouldn't be the best fit. One thing that always brings out Bravo's playful side? **Water!** He absolutely loves swimming, chasing the garden hose, splashing around, and even spending the day on a boat. He's calm, adventurous, and happiest when he gets to share those moments with his people. On off-leash walks, he naturally sticks close, checking in often instead of wandering away. Bravo is naturally a sensitive soul. New experiences can make him a little unsure at first, but with patience, kindness, and encouragement, his confidence continues to grow every day. Because of this, he'd be happiest in a calm, predictable home with adults or older, dog-savvy children who understand that trust takes time. The family who adopts Bravo won't just be rescuing a dog-they'll be gaining one of the most loyal companions imaginable. He'll greet you every morning with quiet excitement, keep you company throughout the day, and remind you daily just how rewarding it is to earn the love of a dog who has finally learned what it means to feel safe. If you're looking for a best friend who will love you with his whole heart, stay by your side through every adventure, and reward your patience with unwavering loyalty, Bravo may just be the dog you've been waiting for. **Bravo is being fostered in New Hampshire and is ready to find the forever family he's waited so long to meet.** First step is to fill out an application here: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FSR-A-2492
