Shep had a home when he was a young puppy but he kept getting out, roaming the neighborhood and showing up at our home. He was always skinny and wanting to play with our dogs. Fast forward to five months ago and his owner said he didn't want him back so we took him in. He's a great dog, about 1.5 years old and 50 lbs, submissive with other dogs, affectionate with people (wants to be a lap dog), has had some basic obedience training (knows Sit, Down, Stay, Drop It, Come), is house trained and crate trained, uses the dog door, walks nicely on leash, takes treats gently, and is just a really sweet boy. The reason we are looking for a new home for him is because he needs a home with no cats. He was OK with our two cats initially but after he settled in, he started chasing them and he hurt one of them. Shep's remaining vetting will be completed before he's adopted.
