About Mabel dies on 7/30!

URGENT!!! HARBOR SHELTER'S DOG FRIENDLY MABEL IS EUTH LISTED ON 7/30 FOR KENNEL STRESS!!! Reason for euthanasia: Mable is showing signs of FAS (fear anxiety stress) in her kennel. She comes to the front, jumping, & barking. She calms down when staff talk to her but starts barking again shortly after. Once out of the kennel, she does well and is easy to handle. Mabel is a sweet girl who just needs a little time to show you who she is. Once she's outside and has a chance to settle in, her sweet personality starts to shine. Mabel warms up quickly, rolls over for belly rubs, and gives plenty of kisses. She enjoys toys, especially balls, and loves chasing them. She's still working on the whole ''bring it back'' part of fetch, but she's having fun learning. She knows sit, takes treats gently, and appears to be potty trained. Mabel participates in playgroup and is still adjusting to the noise of shelter life, but with more time, attention, and volunteer enrichment, her confidence will continue to grow. She's a really sweet girl who will blossom in a loving home.
