Meet Collin - A Sweet Boy Who Will Dance His Way Into Your Heart! Collin is a handsome 2�%BD-year-old boy with a sweet, lovable personality and a heart just waiting for the right person to discover it. Collin once had a family and a home of his own, but sadly, when his family moved away, they left him behind. Suddenly, Collin found himself alone and eventually became part of a cat colony in Collinwood. Thankfully, one of the dedicated feeders who cared for the cats there realized that Collin deserved a second chance. He was rescued from the colony, brought to the rescue, and placed into foster care, where he could finally experience the safety and comfort of being indoors again. Since then, he has been learning what it means to feel safe, loved, and cared for-and that this time, he won't be left behind. Because of his past, Collin can be a little shy when meeting new people and may take some time to warm up. But give him the patience and space he needs, and you'll be rewarded with a wonderful companion. Once Collin decides you're his person, he absolutely loves being petted-especially when you give him his favorite butt scratches! In fact, he loves them so much that he'll do an adorable little dance with his back legs while you're scratching him. It's one of his cutest quirks and is sure to make you smile! Collin did have a condition called stud tail, which caused some buildup on his tail. To help clear it up, his tail was shaved, and he's already on the road to recovery. The good news is that his fur will grow back beautifully-likely even better than before! When he's feeling playful, Collin loves chasing and pouncing on string toys. He also enjoys his independence and is perfectly content spending some time on his own. Collin isn't the type of kitty who needs to be the center of attention every minute of the day-but don't worry, when he's ready for some love, he'll make sure you know! He'll cry and meow until he gets the attention he's looking for. Collin would do best with someone who understands that trust takes time and is willing to let him settle in at his own pace. Once he feels comfortable and safe, his sweet and lovable personality truly begins to shine. After being left behind by the family he once knew, surviving life in a cat colony, and finally finding safety in a foster home, Collin has already been through so much.
