About Precious

Precious was found by Highlands County Animal Services. She was on the side of a road laying in a pile of junk. She is 5-6 years old and is underweight at 46 lbs. Her teeth have been filed down, her ears are cropped, she has sores in her body, and it looks like she has been made to have several litters of puppies. And after all that, she is the sweetest girl in the world. Meet and greet required if you have another dog. She should do well with respectful children. She tested heartworm positive, but the shelter will cover treatment. Call or text Alexandra 330-261-3934 if you are interested in rescuing her. The adoption donation is $100 and includes spay, UTD vaccines, and microchip. Please keep in mind that we try to match your application and lifestyle with a dog the best suits your home. We are the dogs advocate and we put their needs first. For this reason we dont operate on first come first serve. We do reserve the right to request photos of your home.
