About Apollo

Meet Apollo! Apollo is a 7-month-old German Shepherd/Retriever mix weighing 33 pounds, and he's as sweet as they come. This gentle boy is house-trained, crate-trained, and ready to find a family of his own. Apollo absolutely loves other dogs and would do best in a home with an existing canine companion to help build his confidence and give him a playmate. He's not a pushy dog-instead, he's quiet, polite, and happiest soaking up all the affection you'll give him. He walks well on a leash, though he has a funny little weaving habit that we're continuing to work on. Apollo is also great with kids, does well with cats, and has the easygoing temperament to fit into many different families. One of Apollo's most charming features is his adorable look. His shiny, wavy coat hints at his Retriever side, while his ears just can't decide whether they want to stand up like a German Shepherd's or flop like a Retriever's.
