About Loki

Meet Loki! Location: Lebanon, TN DOB: 7/3/22 Loki is a lovable, mellow guy who's happiest enjoying the simple things in life-good food, cozy naps, and plenty of snuggles. He's the definition of a couch potato and is perfectly content with backyard playtime instead of long hikes. One of his favorite things to do is give hugs and rest his head on your shoulder while soaking up affection. Loki is a well-mannered companion. He's house-trained, crate-trained, walks nicely on a leash, and rides well in the car. The only thing he doesn't enjoy is being kenneled where he can't see people, as that makes him nervous. Loki has been around dogs of all sizes through his foster's board-and-train business. He does best with female dogs or neutered males. He can be a frustrated greeter when first meeting other dogs, but with a structured introduction, he settles in well. He's a little uneasy around very tiny dogs (Yorkie-sized or smaller) and intact male dogs that try to mount him. Cats? No problem-Loki simply ignores them. Loki loves people of all ages and especially enjoys kids. He has experience living with children over 8 years old. When meeting new people, he may bark at first, but he warms up quickly and soon wants to make friends. Because of his size, Loki would thrive with someone who is comfortable handling a large dog. His dream home is one where he's welcome on the furniture, has plenty of opportunities to cuddle, and can be a true member of the family.
