About ROSE

Meet Rose, a gorgeous 1.5-year-old Weimaraner who is the ultimate family companion. Originally found through a friend on a military base, she now finds herself homeless due to a military move. She is fully house-trained and brings endless energy and affection to her home. Family & Social Life Kid-Approved: Rose absolutely loves her two human siblings (ages 6 and 8). She plays with them all day and loves to sleep right next to them at night. Dog-Friendly: She gets along great with other dogs, plays well, and enjoys her trips to the dog park. Prey Drive: She has no experience with cats and will pull on her leash to chase squirrels during walks. Home Behavior & Habits Indoor Living: She lives mostly indoors but enjoys total freedom thanks to her dog door. Clever Girl: Rose is smart enough to open unlocked sliding glass doors just to hang out in the backyard. Will not try to escape. Gentle Soul: She has zero history of nipping or biting anyone. Not Crate Trained: She does not use a crate or carrier but is willing to learn! Grooming & Vet Care Vet Favorite: The vet staff absolutely loves her; she steps right onto the scale and follows directions perfectly without any need for a muzzle. Grooming: She does great getting baths and de-shedding treatments at the groomer. Handling: She maintains her own nails but will instinctively pull her paws away when held, though she still tolerates the touch. Medical: Rose knows how to sit on command and is spayed. Never has had any medical issues. Rose is lovingly fostered in the Escondido area and available now. More photos to come!
