**FOSTER OR ADOPTER NEEDED BY 7/28/26** Zyra was sitting in the euthanasia room at a TN shelter and was saved just in time by a temporary foster. Time is up at the foster home and she needs a new place by 7/28. Her kennel mate had been adopted out so we wanted to give Zyra a chance. She has been great with people and other dogs and reportedly was good with kids and cats in the previous home. We have not tested her with kids or cats in the foster home. Zyra is 3 years old, 55 lbs, fully vaccinated and heartworm negative. She will be spayed prior to adoption. She may have had an old jaw injury as her tongue hangs out of her mouth at times. She doesn't appear bothered by it. Zyria is still learning her house-training and finally learned to sit. She will need s family to be patient with her as she adjusts to all new surroundings again. If you're looking for a happy girl that bonds quickly and easily adapts to other dogs Zyra would be great for you. Her name means 'blossom'. Please contact Julie on 919-624-0059 if you can help this girl.
