Please Share �'�| Chicago, IL - Adopt Mandy the Gentle Hamster Mandy is an adorable and extremely handleable female Syrian hamster looking for a loving guardian. Mandy is easy to hold and handle. The main diet of hamsters is pellets, supplemented with teeny tiny amounts of fresh foods, unsalted nuts: a peanut, cashew, or walnut. They also enjoy the occasional mealworm or millet treat. Almonds, citrus and chocolate are dangerous for hamsters! Mandy's adoption fee of $30 benefits the rescued pets of Friends of Petraits Rescue and includes a carrying case. If you need a complete set-up for your new hamster including a 20-gallon glass habitat, food, water bottle, hidey hut and exercise wheel and saucer, that is available for an additional $45, or if you'd prefer a 40-gallon glass habitat and supplies, that is available for an additional $65. Mandy is being fostered in Chicago's Andersonville neighborhood.
