About Violet

**Meet Violet ����** Violet is a beautiful approximately 2-year-old female mixed breed weighing 32 pounds who is finally safe and ready to find the loving home she has always deserved. For nearly a year, Violet was living on her own and avoiding Animal Control as she tried to survive. After so much time fending for herself, she is now learning that she no longer has to be afraid and that people can be kind. Violet is a sweet girl who is still a little shy and unsure in the shelter environment, but she is slowly beginning to open up and show more of her personality. She will need a patient, understanding family willing to give her the time and reassurance she needs as she adjusts to a new life. Violet is good with people and has done well with cats, making her a great candidate for a cat-friendly home. She would thrive with someone who understands that trust takes time, but once earned, it is incredibly rewarding. Violet has already overcome so much. Now she just needs someone willing to give her the chance to learn what it feels like to be loved, safe, and part of a family.
