About Chowder

Meet Chowder! Sweet one year old 85 lb staffy mix. He has been training with Devin Thomas and CaliK9 for about 5 months here in Los Angeles. This has been a hard decicion but we're hoping to place him with someone who will keep up his wonderful training. He's a playful couch potato but our other dog struggles for dominance. They played together all the time but the chemistry isn't quite right now that Chowder is bigger. He trains well around other dogs, goes to group classes most Saturdays. He hasn't been around children or cats but he tries to play with our renter's wee Chinese Hairless, it's just doesn't know how big and strong he is! He'd be a wonderful dog on his own or with another large dog that is patient with puppy energy. He's a real snuggler in bed, curls up into a donut with a big healthy sigh.
