About Peaches

Peaches #23993 is a tricolored female Beagle mix. She is approximately 2 years old. She weighs 25.5 lbs.. She has not been spayed. She was picked up stray by an animal control officer on 7/18/26; owner unknown. Hold expires. She was in poor condition at intake and may need veterinary care. She was thin at intake. She has a skin condition or hair loss that may need extra vet care. She is heartworm positive and will need extra veterinary care. She is gentle and affectionate. She is current on vaccines. She is leash broken. Meds: heartworm positive, pyrantal deworm, bordetella/parainfluenza, distmper/parvo, Adams flea spray, K9 Advantix II. There's something especially sweet about Peaches. Even though it's obvious she hasn't been shown much care in this life so far, she is still has a loving heart and gentle eyes that say she is still willing to love. She came into the shelter in rough shape, missing much of her hair and underweight. Some of this has been remedied by flea medications and large helpings of nutritious food, but she still has a ways to go on her recover. Peaches is also heartworm positive, so she is looking for a compassionate adopter or rescue willing to give her the care she deserves. With commitment, patience, and love, she has every opportunity to look forward to a brighter future. We know there is someone with a kind heart who will see beyond her current needs and recognize the wonderful companion waiting to blossom. From the moment you spend time with Peaches, it's easy to see her quiet charm. She walks comfortably on a leash and enjoys being by your side, taking in the world one step at a time.
