About Gunner-SWEET BOY!!!

Foster parent needed for sweet Gunner through a rescue org. Can also foster to adopt through it. Shepherds are at an increased risk of being euthanized when the shelter, Chicago Animal Care and Control, gets over-capacity, tragically. During the summer and holidays, it is often full!!! The shelter has a policy of mostly not offering purebred Shepherds up for adoption. Gunner is rescue only due to this policy, therefore chance of making it out of there is decreased! The rescue org. that is taking foster/foster to adopt applications for handsome Gunner is: Mit Liebe German Shepherd Dog Rescue, if in Wisconsin/Northern Illinois, which includes Chicago, (will need to copy and paste website address onto browser): www.mlgsdr.com . Sharing the following from the rescue org. that is taking applications: Gunner came in as an owner surrender, is two years old. He had no issues with handling and is food motivated, knows sit and paw. He did fine meeting a female dog, but was pretty focused/fixated on a male so would likely do best with females only. He's a really big boy. If can help Gunner to safety, get out of the shelter, by fostering or fostering to adopt, PLEASE complete an application with the aforementioned rescue org.
