About Bernie

Bernie is such a sweetie; he is a handsome boy with soft, beautiful fur and kind eyes. He is athletic, affectionate, loving, intelligent, playful, and energetic. He is a great companion and loves playing games, such as with toys and fetch. He loves going on runs, trails, being outside, and interaction. Mental stimulation activities/games keep him engaged. He is eager to learn and explore. He has a lot to give, and thrives on engagement, sharing time, and commitment. Bernie would do well with a family or individual who is calm, grounded, and physically active. He has lived with a cat and reptiles (he would need time and patience to adjust to a cat). He would likely not do well in a home with another dog, unless the dog is calm/matches his energy, they meet, and get along nicely! He would work best with young/mid adults, likes children though has not lived with them, preferably teenagers and above. A yard would be most ideal.
