About Ranger

Hey guys! My name is Ranger and I am about 10 months old old, I am a Chi-Weenie mix! I was unfortunately not socialized in my previous home so getting used to new people has been a bit of a challenge for me, but after a few pets and a goof sniff I come around quick! Since the first day I came to the shelter compared to now, it is like a night and day difference, although I am still a little shy at first! I have never lived with children, but I do well playing with them and have not had any issues with kids since being at the shelter, so with supervision at first I believe I could adapt to a home with kiddos in no time! I have learned how to walk on a leash and like to go out for walks and sniff everything I come across! I have never been kept indoors, so potty training will need some work but with a good routine I catch on quick. I am very smart and treat / food motivated so learning new things isn't too difficult! I am healthy and only weigh about 15 lbs as of now, I am expected to get slightly bigger than I am now but no bigger than 20-25 lbs when I am fully grown. I am super friendly and love to be in your lap once I have been able to adjust and get comfortable with you, and I love to give kisses. I love to play fetch and chase after things, although I'm still getting used to bringing them back to you! I also love to snuggle and chew on stuffed animals. I would love to have my second chance at life with a loving, patient family who doesn't mind giving me the proper time and space needed to adjust into my new home. I would love to find a loving home before the cold comes around, I hope to see you soon!
