About Nola

Hey everyone! My name is Nola and I am about 2 years old, I am a Chi-Weenie mix! I was unfortunately not socialized in my previous home so getting used to people has been a new challenge for me, but with a little bit of time, LOVE, and patience I come around really well. Since the first day I came to the shelter to now, it is like a night and day difference. I am working everyday on collar/ leash training, as well as potty training. I am coming around beautifully on the leash and love to follow my person around once I am comfortable with them. I like to be the leader of the group and am more dominant than my other sisters. I was not kept inside a home so I am not house trained but I am very smart so as previously stated consistent work and positive reinforcement goes a long way! I am healthy and only weigh about 11 lbs as of now, I am expected to get slightly bigger than I am now but no bigger than 20 lbs. I would love to have my second chance at life with a loving, patient family who doesn't mind giving me the proper time and space needed to adjust into my new home. I hope to see you soon!
