About Nola

Hey everyone! My name is Nola and I am about 2 years old, I am a Chi-Weenie mix! I was unfortunately not socialized in my previous home so getting used to people has been a new challenge for me, but with a little bit of time, LOVE, and patience I come around really well. Since the first day I came to the shelter to now, it is like a night and day difference. I have only been kept around adults for my life, with supervision and lots of patience I could potentially live in a home with children that are over the age of 5. I am working everyday on collar/ leash training, as well as potty training. I have been working on house training and am doing MUCH better with this; I am also coming around beautifully on the leash and love to follow my person around once I am comfortable with them. I like to be the leader of the group and am more dominant than my other sisters. I am healthy and only weigh about 11 lbs as of now; I am expected to gain a little bit more weight, but no more than 20 lbs. I would love to have my second chance at life with a loving, patient family who doesn't mind giving me the proper time and space needed to adjust into my new home. I hope to see you soon!
