Name: Kitty Age: approx 1 year Breed: Catahoula Mix, 28 pounds Sex: Female (not spayed) Location: DeKalb County, Georgia Sweet Kitty was found hiding in the bushes of an urban park. A woman found her and wanted to take her to the shelter but a Good Samaritan stepped in and is acting as a temporary foster and guardian angel for Kitty. Vet Info: Kitty is blind. She has seen a veterinary opthalmologist who does not know the exact cause of blindness but suspects it is genetic. Kitty is now current with vaccinations and HW-. Kitty has no microchip. Dog Info: Kitty has been with the GS a little over two weeks. GS had her vetted, including taking her to an Opthalmologist. Kitty is an indoor dog who is crated with GS, but she is housebroken and leash trained. She knows the commands: sit, no and drop it. GS has been searching all over for owners but has had no luck. Kitty is good with men, women and children of all ages, she loves male and female dogs as well as being good with cats. GS cannot keep Kitty because Kitty with her puppy enthusiasm wants to play with her senior dog and the senior wants no part of it. Kitty is also a trip hazard for the GS. Kitty is lean and healthy. She eats well and loves to snuggle. Kitty quickly learns her way around so will adapt to a new home easily. She does not have an aggressive bone in her body and is not possessive with treats, toys or food. Kitty likes to chase her tail and explore the yard. Kitty will bring lots of joy to her forever family. **Owner Surrender Disclaimer: These are blind and visually impaired dogs who are living in homes, but their owners can no longer keep them.
