This dog is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $200 if picked up in TN, $275 plus transport fee for out of state adoptions. Meet Ahava, a Jack Russell terrier mix who is charming and super affectionate. At almost five years old and weighing 20 pounds, Ahava is super sweet. She loves her humans and wants to be right next to them (when she isn't on the couch or in the bed relaxing). She gets excited every time her person walks through the door. Ahava knows sit and down, and she is fully housetrained. She does OK in a crate, but gets anxious when left alone for too long or when it storms. On leash, she does well and knows the leash means outside time. She will stop sometimes very abruptly in protest if she doesn't want to go a certain way or if she would rather stop and smell the roses. She enjoys going for car rides and likes to look out the windows. Ahava She lives in foster care with cats and is fine sharing space with them but doesn't want to engage or be too playful. She also does well with children and strangers alike. She lost her previous owner and has been adjusting since, carrying her sweetness with her through the transition. The right home for Ahava can devote more time to her than not, as she transitions into the latter part of her life. She would especially love a family with kids to give her attention and snuggles. If you have the time and care to give Ahava, she would love to meet you. Reach out to A.A.R.F. by text at 931-260-8018 or visit www.aarf-tn.com to start the application process.
