Remi is a 1yr old, neutered, male, Malinois/Shepherd mix with a heart of gold! Remi is a fun-loving, energetic pup who is always ready for his next adventure! This handsome boy absolutely loves people and thrives on attention. During his temperament evaluation, Remi was friendly, social, and enjoyed interacting with everyone he met. He has an outgoing personality and is eager to make new friends wherever he goes. Remi is a true social butterfly with other dogs! He immediately wanted to play with every dog he met during his dog-to-dog evaluations. His play style is enthusiastic and can be a little over-the-top, as he loves giving play bows, bouncing around, and trying to put his paws over the other dog's shoulders. Because of his energetic play style, Remi would do best with another playful, high-energy dog that enjoys rough-and-rowdy wrestling games and can match his excitement. When introduced to a cat, Remi was curious and polite. He approached to sniff, remained relaxed, and was easily redirected by his handler. After the cat set a boundary with a swat, Remi simply backed away, then curiously approached again without showing any signs of aggression. He may need a little guidance learning proper cat manners, but his evaluation showed curiosity rather than prey drive or aggression, making him a promising candidate for a home with dog-savvy cats and slow introductions. Remi is an active dog who would love a family that enjoys walks, hikes, playtime, or simply spending time outdoors. He's the type of companion who's happiest when he's included in whatever you're doing.
