About Liberty

Pet's story We are looking to find a forever home for Liberty, our charming Labrador/Shepherd dog. A farm setting or a house with a yard would be ideal for him. Extremely loving, smart, loyal, and protective. He is house-trained and has no accidents indoors. Liberty is good with most children, cats, and dogs, but he may not get along with other large, intact male dogs. He is protective and will bark at adult men who come inside the house and may nip but he is very obedient when commanded to go to his room. He is good with adult men once he warms up to them which doesn't take long. Given our apartment living situation and the demands of a new baby without family support, we seek a loving family with a farm or yard who can provide Liberty's necessary care and attention. -He can pull quite firmly on the leash occasionally, so a lead leash is advisable -Heavy shedder -Turned 5 in May. Around 85 pounds
