About Mina

This is Mina, or as we call her, Mina Wheats. She is an 8 year-old coonhound full of love and joy, ready to find her furever home. Mina was given to us through a rehoming situation about a month ago and has been nothing but perfect. Unfortunately, she has not gotten along with our dog and has been in a few fights with our hound. She originally lived with another dog and supposedly got along very well. However, Mina is extremely territorial, whether it's over food, toys, the room she's in, or even the people she attaches to. She is affectionate, intelligent, and deeply loyal. Like many hounds, she is scent-driven, curious, and enjoys exploring her environment. She loves expectations and a consistent daily routine. She hopes that daily routine includes lots of walkies, belly rubs, and a couple of treats when she's been good! She does have anxiety, which is helped with daily morning medication that will be provided.
