MINNIE PEARL is an 8.2 pound Chihuahua who is approximately 18 months old. She was found as a stray and no owner was located. This cutie is ready to find a new home where she will be an only pet getting lots of love and attention. MINNIE PEARL is a sweet girl who is happiest curled up in a lap or burrowed next to her favorite person. She can be a little timid at first and has some trust issues from her unknown past, so she needs someone who will give her the time and patience to feel safe. Once she knows you, she is so affectionate and loyal. She loves to cuddle, gives lots of kisses, and forms a very strong bond with her family. MINNIE PEARL needs to be the only dog in the home. While she adores people, she is not good around other dogs, particularly male dogs, and can become very reactive when they are nearby. We do not know how she would be with cats. Because she does not like to be grabbed unexpectedly, a home without little kids is best, but we think she would be fine with older kids. MINNIE PEARL appears to be house trained and walks well on a leash. Because she was found as a stray, a fenced yard is required and she should not be left outside alone. She has separation anxiety and would be best with someone who can be with her most of the time. She would be happiest in a quieter home where she can snuggle up with her family. At night, MINNIE PEARL sleeps burrowed up next to her person in the big bed, exactly where she wants to be. MINNIE PEARL is spayed, up to date on shots, heartworm negative, has had a ProHeart 12 heartworm prevention shot and is microchipped with a lifetime registration. *To meet or adopt one of our dogs, you must first submit an adoption application for review.
