Papito has spent his whole life waiting for someone to truly love him. At just 3 years old and only 6 pounds, this precious Chihuahua lived outside in a kennel, forgotten and without even basic veterinary care. Despite everything he's been through, he hasn't let the world harden his heart. Today, Papito is vaccinated, neutered, and finally safe. He did test positive for heartworms, but because of his tiny size and the fact that he has no symptoms, he has started the slow-kill treatment. He will go home with 6 months of heartworm prevention to help him continue on his journey to a healthy future. What Papito wants most isn't medicine-it's love. He adores curling up in your lap, snuggling under the covers, and sleeping beside the person he loves. He's gentle, affectionate, and so grateful for every bit of kindness he receives. He's lost enough time already. Please don't let him spend another day wondering if anyone will choose him.
