About Marcus

Marcus is a handsome 5 to 6 year old boy who has been waiting for a second chance since December 2024. After being abandoned by the person he trusted, he and two other dogs were left at a private boarding facility. While one of his companions found a foster home, Marcus is still waiting. Unlike dogs in a shelter, Marcus isn't seen by families every day. He lives in boarding, where very few people even know he exists. Without volunteers sharing his story, he could easily be forgotten. Despite everything he has been through, Marcus has remained a kind, gentle, and loving dog. He is a little shy when meeting new people, but once he knows he can trust you, his sweet personality shines. He enjoys quiet companionship, gentle affection, and simply being near his people. Marcus walks beautifully on leash, has a calm temperament, and would love nothing more than a home where he can finally relax and feel safe. He doesn't need a perfect family. He just needs someone willing to give him the love and security he has been missing for far too long.
