About Otis

A few months ago we recieved a call about a dog that was left behind, when his owner was evicted. The landlord couldnt get Otis out of the trailer, and was going to shoot him instead. Otis was scared and doing his best to protect the home and wait on his owners to come back to get him. We rushed to try to get Otis. We had one shot, one day to get Otis!! Otis showed fear aggression and didnt want to leave his home, just in case the owners came back! It broke our hearts but after two hours we were able to corner him and get him into a crate. It only took over night for him to open up and start trusting me. He is loyal and protective. He will need a little time and understanding. He gets along with dogs but I recommend him being the only dog around when you pet him. He gets jealous and will pick a fight. He would warm up to older children that know hot to give him some space but I dont recommend young children. He gets nervous. He has only saw one person for most of his life. He is a small medium, he isnt a tiny dog. He is bigger than a small but small for a medium size dog. Feel free to reach out to me if you would like to meet him on video and ask me more questions.
