Meet Wilson: Professional Chaos Coordinator, Amateur Bulldog, Full-Time Good Boy Wilson is an 8-month-old bulldog mix with the confidence of a celebrity, the impulse control of a toddler after a cupcake, and enough love to smother an entire zip code. This handsome little meatball has never met a stranger-only friends who haven't pet him yet. Wilson was recently adopted and, through no fault of his own, found himself back in foster care just a few days later. His previous home wasn't able to give him and the resident dog the time they needed to properly decompress before introductions. Dogs need time to adjust to an entirely new environment, and a thoughtful decompression period is one of the most important keys to a successful adoption. Here in his foster home, Wilson was given that opportunity. He lives with four resident dogs and was introduced to each of them slowly, one at a time, after being allowed to settle in first. The result? He has integrated beautifully and gets along well with every one of them. His story is a great reminder that decompression isn't just a recommendation-it's an essential part of helping dogs thrive in their new homes. Wilson loves adults, does well with older kids, and enjoys other dogs. That said, he approaches friendships with the energy of a caffeinated cruise missile. He would do best with canine companions who appreciate enthusiastic wrestling matches and understand that Wilson occasionally believes all attention should belong exclusively to him. If another dog is getting pets, Wilson may politely (or not-so-politely) remind everyone that there has been a terrible oversight. Personal space? Wilson has heard of it but does not support it. If you're looking for a shadow, a weighted blanket, and a best friend all rolled into one wrinkly package, congratulations-you've found Wilson. Wilson is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. In other words, he's fully serviced and ready for his forever home. He's crate trained and about 99% house trained. He does great on a schedule but is still working on notifying his staff when nature calls. He's currently studying under some dogs who use potty bells, but so far he's mostly observing their techniques rather than participating. We believe he may be waiting for tenure before committing. When he's not supervising your every move, Wilson enjoys playing fetch, chewing on a good shin bone, and inhaling meals with the urgency of someone who thinks food might be outlawed tomorrow. A slow-feeder bowl is highly recommended unless you'd like to witness a bulldog attempt to break the land-speed record for dinner consumption. Wilson walks nicely on a leash, is eager to learn, and is highly food motivated-which is great because snacks are basically his love language. He's goofy, affectionate, endlessly entertaining, and always ready for the next adventure (or nap, depending on how long the adventure lasts). If you've been searching for a loyal sidekick, a professional cuddle consultant, and a dog who will keep you laughing daily, Wilson is accepting applications for his forever family. His future family should simply be committed to giving him the decompression time every newly adopted dog deserves, so he can settle in, build trust, and show you exactly why everyone who meets him falls in love. Just be prepared to share your couch, your snacks, and most of your personal bubble. Wilson already has plans for all three. %90%BE%9D%A4%8F
