About Molly

Molly is a beautiful, 4-year-old Black Mouth Cur who is very loving to and protective of her family. She is very alert, very smart, and doesn't miss a trick! She loves playing with her 'cousin' dog, riding in the car, going on walks, running free, snuggling, being petted, playing with toys, being in the yard and figuring things out. Because of family circumstances, I had to take over sole care of Molly in 2025, but I am no longer able to care for her on my own, as I have heart, back and shoulder issues. At 63, it's becoming increasingly difficult for me to manage her and take her for walks on my own, as she is very strong. So, she spends a lot of time in the back yard, usually, on a tether. She is a wonderful dog, but she has food aggression with other dogs, and difficulties w/ strange dogs or other animals, as she has anxiety issues. I feel she would really thrive with a family that had some land, or on a farm. She is a hunter and would love to run free... but will always come back!
