About CHANCE

Hello, I am reaching out in hopes that your rescue may be able to help Chance, (A058103) who is currently at the Hesperia Animal Shelter. He is now red status and rescue only, making his situation extremely urgent. Chance came to the shelter as an owner surrendered after experiencing a serious medical issue involving his penis remaining outside the sheath. His previous owners sought financial assistance and had surgery performed, but unfortunately the procedure did not resolve the problem. During a welfare check, animal control found that Chance was still suffering. Because his owners were unable to provide the medical care he needed, they made the difficult decision to surrender him so he could receive treatment. Since arriving at the shelter, Chance has received the proper veterinary care, and his medical condition has been corrected. He is now medically stable and ready for a fresh start. Despite everything he has overcome, Chance is now on red status and is available to rescue organizations only. I am hoping your rescue might consider evaluating him before it is too late.
