About Chapo

MEET CHAPO - 4-Year-Old, 52 lb Sweetheart Looking for His Forever Home (Jacksonville, FL area) Chapo is a gentle, affectionate 4-year-old who loves people, toys, naps, walks, and being your shadow. He's calm in the home, crate trained, potty trained, and thrives with predictable routines and patient, confident leadership. He gets along well with friendly, calm dogs when introductions are slow and structured - he currently lives peacefully with Harley Rose, his dog buddy. Chapo previously lived with a 10-year-old child and three cats, and he recently met two girls (ages 9 and 15) and adored their attention. He's in excellent health: neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, and protected with ProHeart 6. He's also on flea, tick, and intestinal parasite prevention. Chapo's previous owner traveled for their job every week so he has been living with our family in Saint Johns, FL for about three months. He has shown what a loving, easy companion he can be.
