About Jasper

Hello, this is Jasper. He is a 4 year old, neutered, Boxer/Weimaraner mix (boweimar). I think he would do best in an active home, whether that be on a farm or someone who enjoys trails or maybe hunting. He's an incredibly smart dog and is fully trained in most basics, but he is very food driven so teaching him something new has never been difficult. Biiiiiiig cuddle bug. Ive tried for 2 years but I can't provide the enrichment he very much deserves and is asking for. He is a very good, loving, and goofy dog. In the Orlando area but willing to drive. -He's fully potty trained and walks well on leash, recall is about 70/30 off leash but definitely has potential for improvement. -He's good with cats inside the house and has grown up around senior cats and kittens; outside he seems to be a little too excitable for them though. -He doesn't really care about most outside animals (birds, lizards, squirrels, etc) besides having a prey drive for ducks (Weimaraner). -I'm not sure how he is with small kids as he's not around them often, but he's good with older kids. -He is good with other dogs as far as I'm aware, though he hasn't really been around male dogs besides when he was a puppy. -One of his quirks is that he doesn't like to be kenneled, but if you puppy proof a bedroom/bathroom for him he does fine. -He is vetted but his shots do expire soon, I'd be willing to help with that. I love him very much and I just want what's best for him and I'm hoping someone can provide him what I can't
