(Adoption fee can be discussed, but it is less than purchasing all that she will come with) **Moving on 8/01!** Suki has a lot of energy and boredom=shoe eating! Basically, she will entertain herself to get attention. Loves treats, so fetch, tricks, brain games, snuffle mats. Suki would thrive in a home with anybody that is able to be consistent with training and has the time/space for her to have 'free run' time. She has been around kiddos, 12 yr old boys tend to heighten her energy and she gets aggressive. Puts mouth around arm-doesn't bite down. She's had sleepovers with another, older dog, and she just doesn't mind her. They say hi and go about their days. She acts the same with other dogs at the dog park as well, except for a few that plays with her. Suki was spayed a few weeks after her 1st heat. She was microchipped at the same time. She is up to date on her shots. Also has been given Bravecto and Heart Gaurd and is current on those. Her diet consists of 1/2 dry food (Purina One True Instinct Puppy) and 1/2 Rice/peas/carrots/Beef or Chicken 2-3x a day. She likes other things and so things get substituted occassionally or made into a treat. She also eats off of the floor (?) Has not ever been given food from the table or counters. We place treats, if we have any from cooking/eating, on her designated eating spot. She's pretty good but goes NUTS at the smell of delivery pizza and sometimes if you blink and she wants your food, she will watch and wait and grab your food. Like lamb chops and burgers! Suki had her start in a small home with a family at work alot and was in the crate more than they wanted and she needed to be. We have had her since September and live in a small apartment. Keeping her occupied wasn't an issue but lately she isn't getting enough. She's getting older and we don't have the time and are getting ready to make a big move. So, she is looking to step up and have a family that has it all, the time and space. 1st dog mom and I have stayed in contact and they've spent time together and have gone to the beach and such. We share pictures and i update her on how Suki is doing. Having space and structure, maybe an experienced dog owner, would be best. I have heard 'she's just a Husky' a lot. I am not familiar with dogs though. Just these few months with her. She has been spoiled and babied too much is something else that I hear. Hence somebody more experienced. She IS a good girl just is bored and without structure and she acts like the boss sometimes and trys you, like with sitting down and waiting when going outside. She has also been getting more aggressive with my 12yr old. She isn't an aggressive dog, but the heightened energy has an affect on her control. Growling, stress level (ears pointed down) and grabbing arm/calf in her mouth. 16yr old and myself, friends, other men (she gets way excited for possible attention) have been ok but the energy we give off is different.
