About Peach

We have had to make the incredibly hard decision to rehome our sweet English Bulldog, Peach. She is the kindest girl and just needs more attention than we are able to give her right now. It truly breaks our hearts but we are wanting her to have a new home that can give her what she deserves. We are young parents both working full time with a one year old in a small apartment and it's just not fair to her. Especially when she has so many great years left ahead of her. Peach is truly as sweet as her name. Her favorite thing in the world is cuddling and just being a companion. She has never snapped at anyone or barked aggressively. It's hard to convey in words how truly sweet and good she is. She is 5 years old and super healthy especially for an English Bulldog. She doesn't snore and has never had any breathing problems. She had a beautiful brown brindle coat. She is happy with a short walk or going to the dog park but also thrives having a movie marathon cuddle day. She doesn't really play fetch but loves treat puzzles and edible chew toys. We think Peach would thrive in a home with older kids (she does great with younger kids but gets a little sad if she doesn't get attention) or an older couple or single person that has enough time to give her the cuddles and attention that she deserves. She would also do so well with another friendly dog or cat. Peach has attended training classes and knows how to sit, shake, high five, give kisses and goes to her crate 'Bed' on command. She is potty trained but does get some anxiety about rain and has occassionally had accidents from not wanting to go outside. She has some anxiety going on car rides, going to the vet and if the leash pulls too suddenly. But she has never been aggressive. She just needs a little more time to acclimate to certain situations. She is getting spayed August 1, 2026. She is not microchipped. She has received all needed vaccines but may need to get a rabies booster soon. We have kept up with regular nail trimming and baths and try to wipe her face folds as much as possible.
