About Pepper

Meet Pepper, a sweet Yorkie mix girl, 3 years old and 10 pounds being fostered in Leander, TX. Only Texas applicants will be considered ALL COMMITTED INTERESTED PARTIES MUST COMPLETE AN APPLICATION AT WWW.UYR.US ,SO THAT WE CAN CONTACT YOU AND DISCUSS YOUR INTEREST AND THE NEEDS FOR THIS BABY. Pepper is an estimated 3 year old, 10lb girl that came to UYR with a partner (Rosie) from a local shelter. The two were found wandering together by a busy intersection and luckily a kind passerby intervened and got them to the shelter. The shelter staff reached out to UYR to ask if we could bring them into our rescue. Pepper is very healthy, with the exception of currently fighting a parasite infection. She is underweight, but has a great appetite and will be back to normal in no time. She has the cutest underbite and is the most loving and sweet little girl. She loves cuddling on the couch, giving kisses, and will follow your every step. She still has some puppy energy and likes to play with her shelter mate Rosie chasing each other around the house and yard. She is working on her potty habits, but has a good role model in her foster home to learn from. We are still getting to know her personality and she will need to be spayed prior to adoption, but should be cleared of her parasites, spayed, and fully recovered in the next few weeks.
