Meet T-Boz - Your New Best Friend Could Be Waiting for You! T-Boz is CURRENTLY IN CHIEFLAND FL and is a handsome 3-yr-old, neutered, 45-lb mixed-breed boy w/ a heart as big as his smile. If I had to guess his breed, I'd say he has some American Bulldog& Staffordshire Terrier, in him-but honestly, my favorite breed of all is 'Rescue'. T-Boz has had quite a journey. He was born on the island of St. Croix at the island's dumping area&spent his entire life w/a rescue there before making the trip to us in search of the loving forever home he has always deserved. If u adopt him, you'll have your very own island dog w/an incredible story of resilience&hope. He gets along well w/other dogs, although I always stress that proper introductions are important for any dog. We do not believe he is a good fit for a home w/cats. We are unsure how he is w/young children, but because of his size& because every dog deserves to have their boundaries respected, we feel he would do best in a home w/adults or older, respectful children. One of T-Boz's greatest qualities is how easy he is to live with. He is a quiet dog who isn't much of a barker, making him a wonderful candidate for condo or apartment living, provided he receives regular walks&exercise. He appears to be completely house-trained&has never had an accident thus far. He is also comfortable in a crate, although I firmly believe crates should always be used as a safe, secure space-not as a place where a dog spends their life. T-Boz is truly a low-maintenance companion. He loves spending time outdoors, exploring the world one scent at a time, &simply enjoying life's little adventures. He hasn't shown any troublesome habits. Like many rescue dogs, he can be cautious in new situations&w/ new people until he feels safe. If you've never heard of the 3-3-3 Rule for rescue dogs, I strongly encourage you to look it up before applying. Understanding this adjustment period is one of the greatest gifts u can give any newly adopted dog&will help set both u&T-Boz up for success. While T-Boz has never shown any issues w/men, he does seem to naturally gravitate toward women. T-Boz has waited his entire life for someone to choose him. He's survived, he's trusted, &now he's ready to belong. If you're looking for a loyal, gentle, easygoing companion w/an inspiring story&so much love to give, T-Boz may just be the missing piece of your family. Could u be the one to finally give this special island boy the forever home he's been waiting for? My biggest addiction is empathy, & it's very hard for me to turn my back on a dog. I've been trying to curtail rescuing, because I was diagnosed w/cancer 5 yrs ago. I actually had surgery Sept 4th, 2024, &was in the hospital for 2 mths due to complications& infections &again recently 2 days before this past Thanksgiving. When they came to me for help to find T-Boz the home he needs, I just couldn't say no, as I know Im really good at matching appropriately, & it was important to me that he is carefully& properly placed. My goal is to make sure T-Boz finds a final forever loving home. If u are in a home, pls privacy fences only...no chainlink/see through fences. My goal is to make sure I get T-Boz the home that he needs&deserves w/someone who will love him&give him all the care& attention &affection that he deserves for the rest of his life&be able to be committed to him physically, mentally, emotionally& financially. The best thing I could possibly do for T-Boz is to find him a forever loving home where he will be happy ..'Till death do u part'. . I have made the commitment to T-Boz to make sure I find him the opportunity to find the right home he needs& deserves. My promise to him now is to make sure I find him the best forever home w/one who will love him for his entire life ahead ....an individual or family who will continue to let us know how wonderfully he is doing. T-Boz will be your best friend. Will you be his?? I am looking to find the perfect person / couple/family who will give him as much as he deserves. HE IS THE FRIEND U ARE LOOKING FOR & WILL LOVE U FOREVER...WILL U LOVE HIM? T-Boz is up to date on all vaccines, heartworm tested, heartworm negative, on heartworm & flea/tick prevention, microchipped (and microchip remains in my name indefinitely for his/her safety...more than happy to explain) & if u adopt him, u MUST keep him on both & up to date with yearly check ups& vaccines. A phone interview, home check, vet reference check& rehoming fee of $400 will be required.. PLS DONT EMAIL (WILL NOT REPLY).....PLS CALL Heather 954-534-5606 w/any questions/interest.
