Stella has been waiting at the Casa Grande Animal Care and Adoption Center since June 11, 2026. A shelter is no place for a young puppy to spend her days, especially an active girl like Stella who should be exploring the world, learning new things, and making happy memories with her family. Like any young puppy, Stella will thrive with patience, consistency, training, and structure. She is playful, goofy, and full of fun. She loves getting attention from people, enjoys running around the play yard, and is always ready for her next adventure. Stella already knows sit and takes treats very gently. She has participated in playgroups with other dogs at the shelter and has done well. If you have a dog at home, the shelter recommends bringing them along for a meet and greet to make sure everyone is a good match. Stella came to the shelter with her sister, and the two look so much alike they could be twins. While it would be wonderful if they could stay together, Stella is also hoping someone will simply give her the chance to experience what every puppy deserves, a safe home filled with love. Because Stella is still young, her compatibility with children, cats, and small dogs is unknown.
