About Nova

Nova is a beautiful, spayed 5-year-old 70-pound Belgian Malinois/Standard Poodle mix looking for an experienced, active home. She's up to date on all vaccinations, healthy, playful, and loves to stay busy. She grew up with children, is friendly with other dogs, and completed puppy training classes. Like many intelligent working breeds, she needs significant physical exercise and mental enrichment. Without enough stimulation, she becomes more anxious and vocal. She has recently become less gentle with our cats, which is one of the reasons we've made the difficult decision to rehome her, but she has never bitten a person or another animal. She dislikes nail trims and does best with patience, treats, and occasionally anti-anxiety medication for that specific situation. We're looking for someone familiar with high-energy breeds who can give her the active lifestyle she deserves. She's a wonderful, loyal dog with so much potential in the right home.
