About Siegfried

Hi, I'm Siegfried! I was rescued from Chicago Animal Care and Control, and my story almost ended before it had the chance to begin. Shortly after Angel Dog Alliance saved me, I had to be rushed to the emergency hospital because I was struggling to breathe. An oxygen box helped save my life, and thanks to the people who refused to give up on me, I'm still here. Now that I'm feeling better, I'm making up for lost time! I'm a big, goofy boy with lots of puppy energy packed into an adult body. I love to play, explore, and stay busy. If you've been looking for a fun, active companion, I might just be your perfect match. I'm also a big fan of chewing, so I'll do best with plenty of durable chew toys, regular exercise, and continued training as I recover and settle into a routine. My foster thinks a lot of my puppy-like antics will improve once I'm fully healthy and able to burn off all this energy. The rescue believes I'm dog friendly, and they're continuing to learn more about me every day. I got a second chance at life, and I don't plan on wasting it. I'm ready for adventures, playtime, and a family who will laugh at my goofy personality, keep me active, and love me for the big-hearted boy I am.
